We are currently recruiting for a full time Field Service Engineer to support our customers predominantly based in the East of Scotland, as well as further afield.
If you have a background in compressed air systems and are looking to join an industry pioneer in Scotland, BRE is Scotland’s Longest Serving Premier Distributor of Atlas Copco Industrial Air Products, and offers full manufacturer support and training for Air Compressors, Nitrogen Generators, Vacuum Pumps, and Oxygen Generation Equipment. We are also a Premier Distributor of Chicago Pneumatic and Desoutter Tooling and Air Motors.
In this role, you’ll maintain and repair air compressors, gas generators, and related equipment across industries like electronics, medical research, and food production. You’ll troubleshoot malfunctions, ensure smooth operations, and receive daily team support with remote assistance for complex issues.
This role would suit a Field Service Engineer based in the East of Scotland with a background in compressed air systems looking to further their career and levels of responsibility.

Requirements:
- Maintain and repair air compressors, dryers, and gas generators across industries.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and provide timely repairs to meet customer needs.
- Participate in ongoing training and collaborate effectively with your team.
- Full UK driving license essential.
- Industrial engineering background.
- Ability to manage time and work load efficiently.
- Friendly outgoing personality with relationship building skills.
- Drive and enthusiasm to succeed.
- Able to contribute to the team with creative ideas and thinking.
- Able to understand technical information and communicate this effectively.
